We can finally exhale and breath again. LRCA’s Regency Auction 54 was a huge success. We get as many record prices as the big boys-many times we are even higher! Considering this sale was at the height of “auction fatigue” we feel the results were really strong.
This is dead time for the market. We sold just a few things off the web site this past week. Nothing big. So, we were worried how the auction would do. Right before the sale started, bids started aggressively flowing in. The bidders kept going until the lots were officially closed.

Judging from the results of the auction, if you have really nice, fresh, and rare coins the buyers come out-even if it’s right after $100 million plus worth of coins just sold. That is a strong positive sign.

Another week with a few fresh NEWPS! We still can’t get the coins we really want to offer, but the coins we have this week are great!
We have 3 1880-CC PL+DMPL’s to choose from. Each has full mirrors that exceed normal standards! Regardless of what the pops say, 80CC’s with TRUE mirrors do NOT exist! We assure you, in hand each of these coins will more than impress you!

LEGEND RARE COIN AUCTIONS
Auction 54 is now over and done. WHEW! If there was not a PCGS invitational, we would have not held a sale. To the auction companies credit, the sale went off with out a hitch and bidding was strong.
FINAL CALL FOR CONSIGNMETS FOR REGENCY AUCTION 55 October 20th to be held in our offices. The very last day we can take coins-Tue Sept 14th. We’ll start posting highlights next week. October usually is a much better month for selling coins. And there are no other major auctions immediately before or after ours.
