Pre Baltimore Show Report

All is Quiet

Can’t report very much happening this past week. We did no major deals and heard of no blockbuster events happening, This is to be expected. We are officially in the summer doldrums!

What’s next? It depends on what shows up for sale. Collectors need something major to be excited about. The Baltimore auction is interesting for sure-a killer copper collection and a neat Type set. We are already MAJOR players.. We expect little to no real activity from dealers at the show itself. In fact, each day now we are hearing of a dealer or two canceling their trip. We have always lobbied that the summer Baltimore Show be cancelled. A poor show reflects poorly on the market. This summer show has never been good for any one (that is our league).

An FYI: We have lot viewed the sale. If you seek representation call or email Laura by Monday afternoon: lsperber1@hotmail.com.

UPDATED WANT LIST

This past week we have been offered everything we do not need! Commoner coins just don’t help us (and we can only pay the market-what we know we can replace them at). We do not buy or sell Washington Quarters or Franklin Halves.

We desperately need ALL PCGS CAC ONLY MS 65 and higher $5-$20 20th Century Gold. We do NOT need any common dates-unless you have Saints in MS67 PCGS CAC (we need all of those we can buy)! Looking for TWO $20 1907 HR FE PCGS MS66 CAC (ONLY), $20 1913 PCGS CAC MS65, and a $20 1927S PCGS MS64 CAC or better!
