THE PCGS INVITATIONAL
Our entire staff will be attending this show and our auction. Of course we will be available via email.
If you have never attended a PCGS Invite, you really should. There are no other shows like it. There are only 30 dealers-most of who are major players. You can’t get face time with these people at major shows! Plus, PCGS puts out one heck of a spread!
Our auction company has a really good sale that is at record eye balls. We expect a good crowd to attend the sale. The show itself will be good too (a good auction does bring in lots of traffic to do biz)!
THE MARKET
For what ever reason, our market got quite this past week. Its like there is a child flicking and on/off switch. We spoke to several others who said the same thing.
For us, we believe that when we get 1-2 weeks out from auction time (any ones auction) things get quiet. If we did not know our auction had huge interest we’d probably be freaking a little bit. Early in the week we sold zip off the web site. When we sent out our Coins of the Week things started moving. We had 4 people contact us to buy the $2.5 1909 PCGS MS66 at $15,500.00! After that we started selling coins off the site. Hard to believe that with everything we have on our site, it was the Buffalo Nickels that drew the most interest and sales.
Much to our shock-or us being in total denial gold coins were flat. We do not understand this at all. Gold has risen steadily for months now. Obviously there are major world wide crisis and conflicts that are percolating. Yet the premiums and sale of gold are at historic lows. We guess it will all pop when the herd is ready to rumble. Until then, we can’t say it enough, BUY GOLD NOW BEFORE THE PREMIUMS RISE!

This week we went light on offerings intentionally. Oh you should see what is in our NOT ON WEB box! We promise some big goodies coming up.
We did relist the $1 1799 PCGS MS64+ at a lower price. We are stumped why this coin still is in our inventory. If commoner Mercury Dimes Superb GEM are selling for over $300,000.00 and Peace Dollars for $150,000.00, this coin should be at least $250,000.00! Its not like there are many in TRUE Unc. for this 220 year old coin.
We’ll still put up a few more Buffalos. They have been getting hit (sold) as fast as we can put them up. So check back tomorrow too-as we may have posted more.
Check out our regular inventory too. We have many coins that deserve great homes. Of course we’ll work hard to get you in the coins!
