TAX TIME
Looks like the brunt of tax time has finally hit. Last week things were surprisingly strong. This week, they settled down into what we are used to for this time of year. With that slowness visible, the principals of Legend are taking the weekend off (as we planned for our semi retirement). We are still always available via email. In the future we will try to take one weekend per month off (we will always be reachable).
We actually had purchased a few coins before we left. Nothing dramatic. We did however buy and sell a most remarkable coin-$2.5 1915S Pan Pac PCSG SP 67! The 8th piece struck. How cool is that coin? Even more cool we placed it in the ultimate collection-a complete wildly toned Commem set (with a complete gold commem section) with many other Patterns (yes Patterns) and Proofs. We hope to display just the Proofs and Patterns from this collection in the future.

Sorry this week we are offering no NEWPS due to travel. You bet next Friday and Saturday you will see some!

KEEP AN EYE OUT: AS OF RIGHT NOW THE 1893CC PCGS SP 65 IS MISSING. The package made it to a major Chicago mail facility and then went poof! The Postal authorities are on it. This would be our first loss ever, but we are heartbroken over the fact it had to be this coin. Please contact us if you see or hear anything.
