STRONG THEN SILENT
Overall, Legend Numismatics had a great show. We expected those results because we came in with many nice and fresh coins. Our show was a success by Tuesday. We sold “soup to nuts”.
On Wednesday, we did several bigger sales to collectors including two coins for over $50,000.00 each. That has not happened for a long time at any show.
Wednesday evening, there was another installment of the Fairmont Gold collection sold via auction. Nothing sold cheap (that we are aware of). There was plenty of action. Next week’s auctions will be very expensive for the nicer coins. There will be no exceptions.
After Wednesday, activity slowed. Overall collector traffic was moderate. By Thursday, there was not much left on the floor to buy. All of the best coins were on display only.
Our ONLY luck buying was that we had first shot with a major wholesaler where we spent close to $200,000.00. Outside of that, we bought very little. The quality we want was not out there. We know we were not alone with this observation.

We have a small group of ROUND II of our Morgan Dollar deal posted. All are white and are really nice. These are coins that have been off the market for over a decade plus.
Next week we hope to have our purchases from the show posted. We still have many coins floating around in the grading world.
