THE MARKET
Our sales are still humming along and we are selling a lot of gold again. But interestingly, we have also moved a lot of GEM Proof Type off our website. We wish we had more Proof Barbers. It has been refreshing to us to see the demand for Barbers.
We did not expect the market to have been as strong since there have not been any major shows for nearly 30 days. The FUN Show bills are now due and we think the dealer cash drought will end after they are paid. There are no major auctions until the end of March. Collectors seemed to have rebounded. But if not enough fresh or want list type coins pop up, it’s back to the doldrums.
Gold is still a great buy. We are currently out of MS 64 Saints. But pick anything $10-$20 and the premiums are still almost zilch. We like generic gold as a long term play. Next week we are hoping to have another similar offering of generic gold that we think represents a great value. Stay tuned!

This week it’s all about the Naples MS $10 Collection. Included in the set are several finest coins available for the foreseeable future.
