1805 25C Quarter Draped Bust, Large Eagle PCGS AU55 (CAC)

No question this icoin is a serious GEM AU. The quality is SUPER HIGH END!

Shockingly, the surfaces are problem free and look sleek. We used a strong glass and gave this coin a strong look over. Even lines are held to a minimum. A very good luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy a totally original mix of auburn/blue/forest green/champagne colors. Miss Liberty and the details actually are well struck. All the wearis light and is even (no discolorations). The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 23, NGC 12, CAC 5. These are no recent auction records for a coin like this. The published prices are just too low because of that. We acquired this coin from a collector who has owned it for a few years. Do note: in 2019 another toned example (NOT CAC) sold for $11,400.00. We question if that coin had an original color. For sure, the coin offered here does!
