Such a cute little coin!
The coin is actually pretty clean overall, just under a strong glass you see some planchet irritations (minor). There is a lot of luster this small coin beams all over. Both sides are a deeper yellow gold color. You can see some reddish gold highlights by the rims areas. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is very nice!
PCGS 271, NGC 356, CAC 52. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $1,140.00 06/2023. The current Collectors Universe value is $1,250.00. What a great piece of history: a 172 year old coin that is an obsolete coin, and is near GEM, all for Below $1,500.00. Sounds fair to us!
