The mirrors are the epitome of deep. This coin stopped us dead in our tracks while going through a box. in fact, we’d be this coin could be seen on the dark side of the moon its mirrors are so deep and reflective! Also, the mirrors have extreme clarity (so important). When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. They do have a slight watery roll too. Only when using a strong glass can you find a tiny mint made imperfection or two (because the mirrors are so deep). The contrast is is almost 3-D its so insane. There is some light scattered toning mostly by the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out with that crazy wild frost. The eye appeal is will make your jaw drop and lock!
Only 725 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 3. The last sale of one of these was back in 2019. The coin was toned and brought $5,600.00. This coin blows that one away! The current Collectors universe value somehow is $7,500.00. What a MONSTER coin to add to any Type or Seated Proof set!
