Two powerful items collide here: deep mirrors and deep colors. The mirrors have no haze and offer a strong reflection. In fact, when you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like glass reflecting in the sun. Both sides have a GEM original covering of intense navy/deep maroon/violet colors. You still can see the contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is bold!
Only 625 were minted. PCGS 14, NGC 9, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 coins in PR66+ Cameo. It should be noted in its last auction appearance -waaay back in 2021 this coin brought $3,737.50. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,250.00. This is one cool Proof Half Dime!
