1877-S $1 Dollar Trade PCGS MS65+ (CAC)

Despite a mintage of over 9.5 million, the 1877-S Trade dollar is quite RARE in this fine state of preservation, with less a dozen coins graded higher at PCGS. This coin is well worthy of its lofty + deignation. Light original toning on both sides are highlighted by its booming luster and sharply struck devices. The reverse is highlighted by swirling colors of blue, purple, teal and honey gold. A pleasing original Gem destined for the Trade Dollar connoisseur’s collection. PCGS 37, NGC 26, CAC 16. There are just 10 in MS65+ and ten are graded higher.
