A SUPER HIGH END DMPL! Looks really close to a MS 65 DMPL we sold a few months ago. Keep in mind, this date does not come looking like an 1880S DMPL. Why the CAC gods did not bean this coin is a mystery to us.
Superior deep mirrors are a full 8″+. They actually resemble proof mirrors. They are clear and have just a few widely scattered trivial ticks. The flash and contrast are strong. Remarkably, Miss Liberty’s cheek is as clean and smooth as you’ll ever see. The eye appeal is terrific!
