1880-CC $1 Dollar Morgan 8/Low 7 PCGS MS64PL+ (CAC)

What is PCGS thinking? In our strong opinion, this coin is BETTER than just a PL. The new owner can spend eternity fighting w/PCGS over it. We surrender-and of course make no promises.

We see full 8″ mirrors. Apparently PCGS wants any 80CC DMPL to look like an 80S DMPL. The surfaces are amazingly clean and have decent clarity. The flash and contrast are both strong. Put this coin next to any 80CC PCGS DMPL and we can’t imagine it not looking identical. Miss Liberty and the details boldly stand out with thick frost and sharp strikes. The eye appeal is a total WOW!

PCGS 42, NGC 0, CAC 4. CAC has only beaned 6 higher. Important to note: the last PCGS coin to sell in auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $1,320.00 back in 2019! At least the Collectors Universe value is close at $1,500.00. As a 64 DMPL, we estimate this coins value at $4,000.00+.
