Hard to imagine a finer 1882! We rank this coin as VERY HIGH END!
To the naked eye this coin looks perfect. Only when using a strong glass can you find some tiny (microscopic) widely scattered ticks. The surfaces have a wonderfully thick, satiny texture. A strong cartwheel luster beams boldly all over. The coin clearly has never been messed with. The color is original white.Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and enjoy strong frost. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 56, NGC 12, CAC 7. PCGS has graded only 2 coins in MS67+. The last one that sold (the other coin) was in 2015, bringing in $32,900.00. The price guides are significantly outdated for this piece.
