1883-O $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS67+ (CAC)

We would love to compare this coin to the lone PCGS MS68 CAC which traded at $ 60,000.00 (Jan 2020) in a major auction. We’d bet they are as close to being twins as possible!

It is amazing to us how this monster of a coin has survived in such perfect condition. You can use a microscope and look all day and still be amazed at how clean and smooth the surfaces are. Besides enjoying an intense luster, there are faint traces of prooflike mirrors. Both sides are GEM original frosty white. Miss Liberty and the details stand out with needle sharp strikes and thick frost. The eye appeal is seriously jaw dropping!

PCGS 96, NGC 56, CAC 29. PCGS has graded 22 in MS67+. We’d bet few are of the same superior quality as this piece. The current Collectors Universe value is $8,500.00. This coin has been off the market for a very long time. Be glad it’s not in an auction. If you are building a top and white SUPERB GEM set of Morgans, you want this beauty!
