Endlessly deep mirrors offer no serious problems. Only when using strong glass can you find (with some effort) a tiny planchet flake or two and a few light lines. This coin is closer to PR66 DCameo than PR 64 DCameo. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors resemble a sheet of freshly formed ice. There are no spots or flecks. The contrast is strong. Miss Liberty and the details have full strikes and thick bright frost. The eye appeal is unforgettable!
Only 87 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 2. A PCGS NON-CAC sold at auction in 05/2024 for $33,600.00, and as you can expect, it was not all that great of a coin. The current Collectors Universe value is $52,500.00. This is a great coin to add to any box of 20.
