We were so enamored by the color of this coin, we resubmitted it for a 67+. Apparently w missed a microscopic planchet chip. We will unhesitatingly rank this coin VERY HIGH END! This coin is a single for the Collection of a Lifetime.
For an 1888, this piece has seriously above average mirrors. Overall, the mirrors have great clarity and are clean. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of glass. Both sides are bathed in a warm mix of totally original lilac/honey/pale baby blue colors. There are no spots. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 19, NGC 15, CAC 14 (this coin right now counts for 2). The last PCGS CAC coin brought $6,600.00 11/2022. The coin we are offering has 10X more color and seems to be far better looking! Prior to that, there has not been a PCGS CAC PR67 offered since 2018. This is one rare coin in PR67!
