1893 $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

A very cute and totally original coin!

Excellent quality here. There are several small frost breaks and ticks that you need a glass to see. These are what keeps this coin from a full MS65 designation. A strong luster glow from all over. Both sides are a totally original off gold color. A tiny grease or dirt dot is on the star at 4 O’clock on the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. Teh eye appeal is very nice!

PCGS 657, NGC 1396, CAC 213. Only 10% have earned the CAC bean to date. Thats not too many. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $1,200.00 08/2022. The current Collectors universe value is $1,750.00. This date is serious UNDERrated. We could NOT find ANY auction record of a PCGS CAC MS65 ever selling (there are 12 beaned). If you’re building a set of $5 Lib’s, this is a great coin to add.
