1895-S $20 Gold Liberty Type 3 PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

This really is a coin that is more then worthy of the +.

Exceptional surfaces dominate all over. There are a few cuts and small scuff, but you really need a glass to see them with. Overall, this coin is above average in cleanliness. A thick satiny type luster glows from all over. Both sides are a beautiful original gold color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. There is a light “stacking” mark on the cheek (it is light). The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 308, NGC 177, CAC 42. PCGS has graded 38 in MS64+ with only 11 coins graded higher. A PCGS NO CAC was the last to sell via auction in 2022. That coin brought $6,000.00. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $7,200.00 08/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $9,000.00. Hard to find coins like this anymore. This is a really nice and flashy coin. A full PCGS CAC MS65 would cost over $30,000.00-if you could even find one!
