1899 $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS65+ (CAC)

This is a wonderful; GEM! yes indeed the quality is VERY HIGH END.

Note: this is not the 1899 PCGS MS65 CAC we just had.

Great surfaces border on total perfection. They have a thicker satiny like texture. The luster is strong and glows nicely all over. Both sides are a GEM original deeper gold with pale greenish gold highlights. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and stand out. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 297, NGC 735, CAC 72. PCGS has has graded 24 in MS65+. The last example to sell vi auction brought $3,643.00 back in 12/2021. Obviously gold is far higher now. All published prices for gold coins are behind due to the dramatic rise in gold. This is a great coin to add to any set or just toput away.
