1902-S $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS66 (CAC)

How in the world has this coin managed to survive 122 years with NO problems? It still looks like it did the day it left the bank!

An intense and bold luster you can see from across the room attracts your immediate attention. The surfaces have just a few very trivial tiny ticks and frost breaks you can ONLY see with a glass. To the naked eye everything looks clean. Both sides are a GEM ORIGINAL yellow gold color with some pale orange gold highlights. There are No spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 51, NGC 33, CAC 15. There has not been a PCGS CAC example sold via auction in years. The current WHOLESALE sightUNSEEN BID is $5,500.00 . Can not say we’ve have seen coins like this around with any frequency these days.
