No question this coin is SUPERB in every respect! We sold it to Denali many years ago as a SUPER HIGH END 67. Yep, PCGS and CAC agreed.
Deep mirrors burst with a strong reflection. Even though it is toned, you can see the flash of the mirrors feet away. There are no lines or problems anywhere. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that “watery” like roll. Wonderful natural colors of olive/forest green/pale blue/lime swirl all over. These are not dull or drab colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is great!
Only 727 were minted. PCGS 12, NGC 14, CAC 5. PCGS has possibly graded only 2 in PR67+ and one PR68. There are no auction records for any PR67+ ever selling that way. Some how, there is a current Collectors Universe value of $5,500.00. This coin will make a great addition to any SUPERB GEM Proof Barber Dime set!
