1908 50C Half Dollar Barber PCGS PR66 (CAC) ENDLESS MIRRORS! COL GREEN-NEWMAN
$4,950.00
Love to use the term “glittering mirrors”. That means the coin is flashy and has killer eye appeal. This is an fully ORIGINAL Proof from the Eric Newman Collection (originally purchased from Col green). Its so hard to get a good pedigree and quality on a coin these days! We LOVE this coin and rank it SUPER HIGH END.
Deep, crystal clear, clean, and boldly reflective mirrors beam from all over. When you twirl the coin, you see a powerful watery like roll. There are some light splashes of champagne toning in the fields-but this is NOT a milky or hazy coin. A thin ring of green/pale gold frames the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light silvery white frost. The eye appeal is powerful!
ONLY 545 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 12, NGC 26, CAC 5. There is NO record of ANY PCGS CAC piece ever selling at auction. A NGC CAC piece sold for $6,168.00 08/2012 Heritage and that’s it. If you are building a great Proof 50C Barber Collection, this coin would be a ‘must have”. You get a terrific pedigree at NO extra cost! Think about it, only 5 beaned by CAC-that is nothing. And ONLY 545 minted. As time goes on, this date and grade won’t be available at all.
WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
