1908-S $5 Gold Indian Head PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

This piece is a VERY HIGH END example of a not so easy to find date.

Most impressive is this coin’s cleanliness. The reverse top right area does have only a small HIDDEN line or two and the rest of the coin is really clean overall. The dreaded right reverse just has a few tiny pin pricks. A strong satiny like luster glows all over. Both sides are a very pretty even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 78, NGC 49, CAC 22). PCGS has graded 17 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC MS64+ to sell via auction brought $18,213.00 01/2022. PCGS CAC examples of ANY Choice or higher $5 Indians are hard to find.
