1911-S $5 Gold Indian Head PCGS MS63 (CAC)

This is clearly a VERY HIGH END piece. Hard to say why it’s not a MS63+ at the very least.

Impressive surfaces are extraordinarily clean. Only with a strong glass can you find a few microscopic ticks scattered about. Lines are held to a minimum as well. The surfaces do appear satiny. This is NOT a chewed-up coin. A full booming luster shows off beautiful and totally ORIGINAL colors of pale orange gold/deeper yellow gold. There are NO spots. All of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 238, NGC 79, CAC 36. PCGS has graded 11 MS63+. A PCGS NO CAC sold for $4,481.00 11/2021. The published prices have not caught up to where the market is. The current sightUNSEEN WHOLESALE BID is $4,600.00. This coin will be a great addition to any choice set!
