What an amazing SUPERB GEM 1915 Proof 25C. yes, it is that close to PR68 (no promises)!
Major league deep mirrors have a surprising punch of flash. You can easily tell the mirrors have great clarity too. When you twirl the coin, even though it is toned, you still can easily detect a “watery” like roll of the mirrors. Wonderful moderate and totally original shades of purple/pearl green/champagne/lilac/gold and possibly more colors swirl gracefully all over. The reverse sort of has a rainbow circle of colors by the rims. No question this coin is 100% original. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and stand out. The eye appeal is exceptional!
Only 450 were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 14, CAC 11 (for sure there is a repeater in those numbers). This coin last sold at auction for $12,338.00 in 09/2022. The current Collectors Universe value is $14,000.00. We know we certain never see many higher graded 1915 Proof 25C offered (even though we did recently sell the PR67 Cameo-a very rare coin).
