1927 $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS67 NO CAC

We are only buying the NON CAC Saints we really like. We think its a tragedy when there are coins like this that could have been beaned by CAC but were not because of a teeny tiny thing or two. That bean makes a $20,000.00 difference. In our opinion, this coin is just fine. Of course we’ll make a market in it-so long as the tag is the same.

Keep in mind, 1927’s do not come looking as sweet as 1928’s can.

We are greatly impressed by the uber clean surfaces. Even using a strong glass and searching all over you will not find anything annoying or distracting. The surfaces have an almost velvet like look and are smooth. A strong luster radiates from all over., Both sides are a GEM original gold/pale orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is very nice!

PCGS 36, NGC 73. The last PCGS (NO CAC) piece to sell via auction brought $16,800.00 08/2022. These do wholesale for $17,000.00-when you can find them. The current Collectors Universe value is $20,000.00. It should be noted, the last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $31,200.00 04/2020. When a Saint looks this good and is so close to possibly beaning, we’ll buy it!
