1937-D 5C Nickel Buffalo Type 2 3 Legs PCGS MS66 (CAC)

A Superb plus piece! We feel this coin is so high end, we submitted it 2x seeking a + when we first owned it back in 2017. Obviously, PCGS said no!

Fantastic ultra clean surfaces are also quite smooth. Even if using a strong glass, you will NOT find ANY impairments of ANY size, ANY where. A strong glowing type of luster illuminates the beautiful and totally original light colors. Both sides are bathed in light nickel/gold/pale deeper peach. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Every detail is sharply struck and does stand out. The eye appeal is exceptional (we assure you; this piece is NOT dull or crusty like these so often come).

PCGS 12, NGC 23, CAC 7. PCGS has graded 5 coins finer-one of which Legend Auctions sold recently (10/2021) for $99,975.00 The last PCGS CAC 3 Legger to sell in auction brought $64,625.00 09/2015 in an “off” sale. We paid stronger for this coin because it is VERY HIGH END and had been off the market for a while. If you seek a GEM 3 Leg for your collection, carefully consider this coin, in this market you won’t see many similar or even finer being offered. We are students of this date in MS65 and better.
