Virtually flawless surfaces are smooth. We used a strong glass to examine it, and all we could find was light porosity on the planchet (and we mean ultra light and scattered). PCGS 16, NGC 8, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 2 coins in MS63+ with possibly 10 higher. The last regular MS63BN brought $21,150.00 04/2013.
We think this piece is an absolute prize. Its 221 years old and looks like it was recently crafted from a chuck of milk chocolate. Keep in mind, back then every coin was hand made. This is a tremendous piece of history. Opportunity (especially at today’s levels) can not knock any louder!
