$20 1911D PCGS MS66

Bought this from a “crackout dealer” who tried it several times seeking an MS67. We totally disagree with that, but we do think it is one heck of a beautifully colored GEM.

This IS very much an original coin (not dipped out or spray painted). The surfaces are exceptionally clean and of course have a full booming luster. Light to moderate colors of deep orange/yellow gold mix obviously on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have nice strikes. This coin is far prettier than your typical 11D in MS66!
