WOW What a 36S Oregon! These are notoriously poorly struck and plain UGLY. We feel in love with this piece immediately!
Both sides are PERFECT to the point we assume this coin was never touched once it left its issue card. The surfaces are satiny and do emit a strong luster. A moderate mix of totally ORIGINAL pale gold/olive/blue colors all swirl everywhere. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
ONLY 5000 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 131, NGC 146, CAC 35. PCGS has graded only 4 coins MS67+ w/3 in MS68 and ONE MS68+. The last MS68 sold for $10,925.00 in 2009 and was NOT CAC. Opportunity knocks loud here for any serious Commem buyer who likes VERY high end quality!
