This coin is the real deal! No question it sat some where lovingly protected for its 71 years of existence.
Awesome smooth surfaces are also remarkably clean as well. Even the dreaded right obverse field is pretty much mark free. A bold glowing type luster beams from all over. Both sides are lightly toned in an original pearl like pastel mix of pale green/gold /faint violet colors. Overall, the coin does appear soft white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 76, NGC 68, CAC 23. PCGS has graded only 5 piece sin MS67+ and NONE in MS68. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $9,400.00 02/2015. Obviously, these are NOT any where near common nor do they make frequent appearances. Of course this coin will be a fitting addition in ANY high grade Walker Collection. Opportunity knocks loud here!
