5C 1897 PCGS PR67+ CAMEO

This is indeed a very special coin! When it came across this desk, we had a hard time putting it down. We even nick named it “ice cream” because it looks so dreamy!

Intense mirrors beam with a blazing brilliance that dazzles the eye. They are clean and offer bold clarity. Icy blue iridescent toning in the centers yield to a brilliant gold at the peripheries are truly a delight to behold. The eye appeal is truly electrifying!

PCGS 20, NGC 9, CAC 19. There are just 6 in PR67+ CAM and three finer at PCGS. The most recent PCGS/CAC coin to sell in auction was in the 2019 FUN sale, which realized $9,600, and that was the first sold since the 2014 ANA auction. Keeping in mind that there are only 3 in PR68 CAM finer, and the only one to sell realized $23,500 in February 2016. We had to buy this incredible near PR68 GEM at $4,700.00 from our 09/2019 auction. We’ll flip it because we really want it in a set close to us.

This spectacular SUPERB GEM belongs in the FINEST of collections and no doubt it will bring much pride to its new owner.
