Gold shot up this week to $2,057.00 and it seems likely to continue its upward movement. It was led by weakness in banking and another Fed rate increase; which in turn has led to another frenzy for buying more bullion and tangible items like rare coins…

What a sale! Certain parts of the sale were like a jackpot being hit on a slot machine! Internet bidding just kept going…..There was some selectivity in the market, however ALL SUPERB GEM coins brought strong to record results. Clearly the JBN set of Walkers lead the way with crazy wild interest and “beyond Pluto”..

A GREAT SHOW!

This CSNS show is the way big shows should be. Only FUN is comparable. We’ll be back and we believe the 600+ dealers in attendance at this show will be looking forward to the next CSNS as well…

Nothing of significance happened this past week with rare coins. It seemed every one (including us) was consumed by circ. gold and silver along with lesser grade generics. We were told by knowledgeable sources there were two dealers-one doing $10 MILLION A DAY in the stuff and another making as much as $150,000.00 A DAY!..
