VERY GOOD ACTIVITY
We are very happy with how our July is turning out. Typically, it is a dead month due to vacation, etc. Last July we did not even break $1 million in sales. Business has been much better than we expected this past week. Apparently, people are coming home and are looking around. Not having much new, we are selling off the web and a few Want List coins from deals that came in. We are already at $1 million sales with half the month to go!
Collectors still view coins as a “safe haven” through the stock markets turmoil and cryptos fall. To be able to hold a piece of gold or silver from the early 1800’s is really special and has a value that won’t go away. Even generic gold seems to be hanging in there pretty strong (although not as strong as it was earlier this year).
Our call to prepare for ANA did not go unnoticed. We got a lot of coins in. People are looking to buy from the upcoming auctions and want to be liquid. We have to warn everyone, these auctions draw from all over the world these days. you’re bidding against like-minded people -some with unlimited dollars (especially in the GEM Saints category). Just announced: Amazon Prime Day was its biggest event ever. Over 300 million items were sold. They claim people are still shopping as hard as ever during this time of record inflation. Those are some massive numbers people re spending!
