We knew this would happen. Gold finally broke $2,000.00 and it seems to have staying power. The gold/silver bugs are out in force buying as much as they can – We do need to note: people are loading up on bullion and low grade generics. However, it is slowly bleeding into better gold which never really took a break. Gold collectors are still buying five figure coins. We recently sold a gold coin for over $1 million.
The rare coin market is too small for prices to stay at current levels. If another wave of new money is injected in to the market ( even if its a small wave), prices have nowhere to go but up. There is a track record of when people are out there buying lots of gold and silver, it eventually bleeds into rare coins. Considering we are in the typical dull drums of tax time, we shudder to think of what CSNS and our auction will be like. We have gone from expecting a good show and a good auction to expecting a MONSTER show and off the charts sale. We expect many dealers will be flush. Collectors will be ready for post tax time opportunities. WOW, will it be strong!
Fortunately, we have many great PCGS CAC coins in stock, especially hard to find better gold. You can’t go out on the marketplace and replace these coins today. If you do, they are probably in auction and will fetch a ton. Although people LOVE auctions, buying better gold away from the auctions/us will save you money in most cases! You won’t get caught in a heated competition.
Enjoy the “quiet” time now. Buy what you can. We predict the market will be really strong around CSNS. We also think gold will get stronger as well.

How good is our CSNS REGENCY SALE? We had several HUNDRED BIDDERS register the first weekend that the sale went live with over $1.5 million in bids! We know many of them were place holders, but those numbers are pretty strong. We are also at record views. Do not expect the great coins to sell cheap!
