We know our Proof Trade Dollars better than anyone (we have assembled the two best PR TD sets EVER!!! This coin, is remarkable even though it is only a PR64 Cameo. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL 1874 PROOF TD. We fully rank this coin as VERY HIGH END!

This coin has some of the BEST mirrors we have EVER seen on any 1874. Generally these come subdued with little reflection. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a knock out watery like roll. We never see this date looking like that. The mirrors also have exceptional clarity. Only when you use a strong glass can you find an old lines/tick or two. Nothing is serious. The contrast is bold and is enhanced by a light to moderate ring of gold on the peripheries. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are full struck. The eye appeal is fabulous and then some!

Only 700 were minted. PCGS 31, NGC 14, CAC 14. We paid above the price guides for this coin. In this market, when you’ve can’t find anything similar and you know the coin is far above anything else, you have to do that.
