1878 20C Twenty Cents PCGS PR64CAM (CAC)

WOW, we have not handled any Proof 20C since at least 2021. Could not find any we liked. Now, this piece, we LOVE!

In your face deep mirrors are nearly blinding. There is a small cut in the right obverse field-which you really need a glass to see. The clarity and overall cleanliness are great. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that crazy deep watery like roll. The obverse has beautiful GEM original colors of reddish gold framing the rims. The centers are silvery white and produce awesome contrast. The reverse has original colors of deep champagne/green/reddish gold/auburn swirling all over. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and enjoy thick white frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. There has not been ANY PCGS CAC PR64 DCameo sold via auction. In fact, the last one to sell was a PCGS NO CAC coin in 2007! The current Collectors Universe value is slightly behind at $9,000.00. So few of these have come to market in the 2-3 years. Opportunity knocks loud here!
