1909-D $5 Gold Indian Head PCGS MS65 (CAC) CLEAN!

Oh do we regret not bringing this GEM to FUN. . It easily would have sold there. Plus its in an older blue tag holder. We rank the coin as SUPER HIGH END!

We love this coins exceedingly clean surfaces. We used a strong glass and surfaces. Even when using a strong glass, you only become more impressed. The dreaded right reverse is super clean. A good luster beams all over. No question this coin was never messed with. It has a beautiful and totally original gold color. There is NO toning. All of the features are lightly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is unbeatable!

PCGS 153, NGC 104, CAC 18. There are none listed for sale on Collectors Corner. We can tell you had we brought it to the show, this coin would be here. Better gold like this is strong and there are far more buyers then seller. Also as far as the ate being super common in grades up to 64, that is correct. However, we can tell you finding a true GEM like this is more difficult then finding a 1908 or even 1909 P in MS65 CAC. This is a great coin for a Type or $5 Indian set!
