Remarkable surfaces are clean and are smooth. We used a strong glass looked all over and found NO hits or problems anywhere. The surfaces do have what we call “thick skin”, For sure this coin has never been messed with. There is a totally original lightly dusky deeper gold toning on both sides. We found zero spots or discoloration. Miss Liberty and the details have light and even wear. The eye appeal is super GEMMY!
PCGS 6, NGC 13, CAC 15 (we are not sure this is correct). The current Collectors Universe value is $23,500.00. A real find in this grade-and even rarer in the old pancake holder too! We doubt this GEM AU will last through Baltimore. No hype, just fact.
