What a terrific near full GEM piece this is! Its closer to MS65 then MS64 for sure. Only a few trivial scattered hidden lines keep this coin from being a $35,000.00 GEM! We rank this coin as VERY HIGH END!
Looking dead on with the naked eye you will not see any problems. Even with a strong glass a line or two is all you can find. The surfaces clearly have ORIGINAL skin and are unmolested. Both sides are an even deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 492, NGC 455, CAC 115. In MS64+ PCGS has graded 78. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,500.00 09/2025. Keep in mind the next step up (PCGS MS65 CAC) would cost you at least $35,000.00-if you can even find one of the 10 that are CAC. The coin offered here is an excellent value and will also be an excellent addition to any GEM set!
